Reasonably handy for City and West End
Camden - London NW1
Very lively, trendy, young area with a good range of clubs, bars
and restaurants. Camden Lock Market. Very handy for City, Central
and West End
Canary Wharf - London E14
Exciting modern redevelopment of Docklands waterfront area. Part
of prestigious extension to City financial district, for which
it is very handy.
Canning Town - London E16
Once a thriving cosmopolitan dockyard with bustling markets and
pubs on every corner the mighty docks which brought these settlements
to life have departed east on the tide of containerisation and
a new look and a new destiny awaits what once passed for some
of the East End's most reviled slums. Other open spaces in E16
include Canning Town Recreation Ground on Prince Regent Lane which
offers football, tennis and a junior cycle track. The Keir Hardie
Ground on Tarling Road also deals in football and has a playground
and there is a further recreation ground on Newham Way. Once a

Canonbury - London N1
The demographic shift in the Canonbury area can be seen in the
inexorable rise of new luxury developments, Islington is still
best known for its exceptional Georgian terraces and tall early
Victorian houses.
Carshalton - SM5
Carshalton Village has its own busy parade of shops, pubs and
restaurants framed to the west by a large pond that adds to the
unique village feel to this area. Roads of Victorian and Edwardian
terraces and semis lie off the high street. Pond Street, with
its rows of clapboard sixteenth century cottages adds real character
whilst handsome late Victorian and Edwardian semis surround the
streets off of Park Hill. Property becomes more spacious and expensive
towards Carshalton Beeches. Archetypal stockbroker belt accommodation
of all styles lying in tree-lined, wide roads can be found here.
The largest detached properties with substantial grounds can be
found in the wide roads fringing the open areas of Oaks Park.
Catford - London SE6
Bigger housing stock in what used to be a suburb. Plenty of open
spaces. Handy for the South Circular orbital road.
Charlton - London SE7
Excellent views over Docklands towards Canary Wharf. On the borders
of the more expensive Blackheath and Greenwich areas, Charlton
offers good affordable housing for families and local London people
including council accommodation. Close to many good local facilities,
major supermarkets and big store outlets. The area has a good
community spirit and feel. Easy access into central London via
Rail and Bus. Possibly one of the more underrated areas to live
in London. A successful premier league football side too allows
you to enjoy your Saturday afternoon at the match.
Cheam - SM3
Combining the benefits of the town with the space and serenity
of the country, Cheam is an attractive village with a good range
of Victorian and Edwardian family homes, prestige properties,
and a vibrant rental market. Green open spaces are aplenty with
Cheam Park and Nonsuch Park to the west of the village centre.
Chelsea - London SW3 , SW10

Kings Road, clubs, bars, restaurants and exclusive shops. Close
to the River

Largest financial centre in Europe. Live here to work in the area.
Clapham - London SW4
Lively, open spaces, plenty of bars and restaurants.
Clapton - London E5
With many trendy loft conversions, Clapton is moving upmarket,
but this is still the place to find a cheap deal, with ubiquitous
Victorian houses sharing space with council estates and some new
developments.
Cockfosters - London EN4
A typical suburban location that has excellent transport facilities,
the M25 is a few minutes drive away and access to central, east
or west London is easy via the M25 or North Circular. The shops
are limited, but functional and all local needs are satisfied.
The amenities are excellent and with several parks the area is
picturesque and tree lined on most roads
Colindale - London NW9
Northern suburb, good sized housing, gardens. Convenient for M1
giving access to North
Colliers Wood - London SW19
Colliers Wood is not the most distinguished of areas and suffers
from comparisons with its more affluent neighbours-Wimbledon and
Merton. It doesn't have grand period properties, access to expansive
parklands (Wandle Park is the closest open space), or a particularly
interesting high street. It does have is a tube station on the
northern line and a good supply of Victorian terraces and 1930s
semis, both of which make it an attractive choice for first time
buyers in search of relatively cheap houses and conversion flats.
Coombe - London SW20
Sought after area, spacious with large houses many with gardens.
Nearby Wimbledon lends its village atmosphere with many good restaurants
and good shopping. Handy for the tennis. Good access to the Southwest
by road.
Cricklewood - London NW2
Pleasant area good sized housing, gardens. Convenient for M1 giving
access to North
Crofton Park - London SE4
Large Victorian edifices predominate, three or four storeys high
and offering up to seven bedrooms in a single house. Many fell
as easy prey to multi-occupancy, but are still spacious with high
ceilings, big rooms and colossal gardens.
Crouch End - London N8
Village atmosphere, large houses, wide selection of shops, restaurants
and bars

Self contained suburb with good shopping facilities, theatres,
