Petts Wood - BR5, KT1
Most of the house building in Petts Wood occurred during the 1930's,
mainly to provide good housing for the London overspill at affordable
prices in the "country". Part of the attraction to prospective
buyers was a main line station with over 200 trains per day to
various London stations and a service taking approximately 25
minutes. Petts Wood, Kent is now part of the London Borough of
Bromley, it is situated between Orpington and Chislehurst. It
still has a station with a frequent service to all London mainline
stations serving the South East. It is well served for road transport
with the M25 London orbital, the M20 for the Shuttle and the M2
for the Channel ports within 15 minutes drive.
Pimlico - London SW1
Pimlico offers a stylish, central location for those who don't
wish to pay Belgravia prices. Flats and apartments dominate with
family homes a rarity. Tall white stucco buildings offer grand
accommodation although the odd small hotel can be found, a reminder
of Pimlico's more run down past as a haven for bed-sits and short-let

Purley is situated to the south of Croydon's busy town centre
there are a small number of shops close to the station and housing
is predominantly 1920's and '30's semi-detached in style, popular
with families and commuters. A number of more modern flats can
also be found near the station. The west side of the Brighton
Road, which runs though the middle of Purley and Purley Oaks,
has a number of larger semi-detached Victorian houses as you climb
the hill heading west.

Pleasant riverside location close to large parks. Good selection of bars,
