Paddington - London W2:
Good access to the whole city, varied housing stock. Close to rail terminus giving rapid access to Heathrow airport and the West Country. Good road access in the same direction.

Palmers Green - London N13: Northern suburb, large houses - many with gardens. Good access to M1 and North

Park Royal - London NW10: A leafy town on the outskirts of London but with all the hustle and bustle and cosmopolitan life you would associate with Central London. A lively shopping centre, including all the well known chains that you will find on Oxford Street. There are also lots of specialist places for the unusual, not to mention collectors and antiques markets as well as a craft market. Culture and heritage or outdoor pursuits are plentiful, there are large number of historic buildings and heritage sites in the Borough as well as an abundance of walks, parks and gardens canal trips, golf courses, leisure centres, horse-riding stables and tennis courts. Other activities a short distance away include museums, gliding, ballooning and dry slope skiing, all are easy to get to either by car, or on public transport.

Peckham - London SE15: Interesting area with a wide range of accommodation. From old victorian housing to modern multi-occupancy units. Culturally diverse. Handy for City.

Penge - London SE20: Suburb

Perivale - UB6: Perivale is a residential suburb of West London with an Industrial estate comprising of numerous buildings built in the 1930s There are hardly any pubs in Perivale, and most residential properties have restrictive covenants in the title deeds such that alcohol may not be sold.

Petts Wood - BR5, KT1
Most of the house building in Petts Wood occurred during the 1930's, mainly to provide good housing for the London overspill at affordable prices in the "country". Part of the attraction to prospective buyers was a main line station with over 200 trains per day to various London stations and a service taking approximately 25 minutes. Petts Wood, Kent is now part of the London Borough of Bromley, it is situated between Orpington and Chislehurst. It still has a station with a frequent service to all London mainline stations serving the South East. It is well served for road transport with the M25 London orbital, the M20 for the Shuttle and the M2 for the Channel ports within 15 minutes drive.

Pimlico - London SW1
Pimlico offers a stylish, central location for those who don't wish to pay Belgravia prices. Flats and apartments dominate with family homes a rarity. Tall white stucco buildings offer grand accommodation although the odd small hotel can be found, a reminder of Pimlico's more run down past as a haven for bed-sits and short-let flats. Ex-council blocks line the river next to Dolphin Square. A few streets are busy through-routes, yet a vigorously enforced traffic scheme ensures that the majority enjoy a quiet life.

Plaistow - London E13
Two and three bedroom Victorian terraces dominate much of Plaistow and West Ham. North of West Ham Park boasts the best properties. Numerous new estates of small family homes can be found in West Ham, whilst Plaistow offers a good stock of modern apartment blocks. Transport into the city now aided greatly by the arrival of the Jubilee Line.

Plumstead - London SE18
Suburb with a wide variety of accommodation. Good access to the City on a fast frequent rail service. Easy access to the Southeast. Plenty of open space on Plumstead common or in the ancient woodlands of Shooters Hill.

Ponders End - London EN3
A mixture of late Victorian terraces, mid war semis and tower blocks. A good location for small, cheap housing, hence the area's popularity with first time buyers

Potters Bar - London EN6
Northern suburb, large houses - many with gardens. Good access to M1 and North

Preston - HA3
Northwest suburb, good sized housing, gardens. Convenient for M1 giving access to North and M40 giving access to the West

Purley - CR8
Purley is situated to the south of Croydon's busy town centre there are a small number of shops close to the station and housing is predominantly 1920's and '30's semi-detached in style, popular with families and commuters. A number of more modern flats can also be found near the station. The west side of the Brighton Road, which runs though the middle of Purley and Purley Oaks, has a number of larger semi-detached Victorian houses as you climb the hill heading west.

Putney - London SW15
Pleasant riverside location close to large parks. Good selection of bars, clubs and restaurants.
